POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service at Northam in Waterburg District have opened murder and Inquest dockets following the discovery of bodies of a 33-year-old man as well as of a 24-year-old woman in a house at Northam. Information at our disposal suggest that the two were in a love relationship and also staying. together. The two were last seen on the 25 December 2024 at about 23h45 at a local tavern. The woman was according to information found lying in the bed and the man hanging in the roof of the house and their bodies already in an advanced state of decomposition. The motive behind this shocking incident is unknown at this stage although domestic related dispute cannot be ruled out . The identity of the deceased will be made public in due course, though the woman is said to be from Lesotho. The Provincial Commissioner of police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has condemned the incident and further urged people in romantic relationships to seek professional assistance when they are experiencing relationship challenges.
