Update: Police official nabbed for fraud and theft allegations

EASTERN CAPE – Andile Matantala (46) the police Sergeant attached to Stock Theft Unit at Alice appeared before Queenstown Magistrate’s facing allegations of fraud and theft on 19 December 2024.

Matantala was arrested by the Hawks on 18 December 2024. He was released on R5000 bail and the matter was remanded to 13 February 2025 for legal representation as well Regional court date.
