LIMPOPO – The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has ordered an immediate investigation after an unauthorised police vehicle attached to Saselamani police station was seen busy loading firewood at Sanari village, Makuya policing area in Vhembe District. The alleged incident involving two police officials took place on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 and has been circulating on various social media platforms. The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has commissioned Major General Eddie Van Der Walt to expedite the investigation process that has already commenced and ensure that appropriate actions are taken against the members involved in line with the SAPS Discipline Regulations and Code of Conduct. “Any abuse of state resources will never be tolerated in this province. State resources are to be optimally utilised in line with service delivery,” said Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe. Ends
