Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Provincial Organised Crime Unit has apprehended a 40-year-old foreign national male suspect for possession and dealing in drugs on Tuesday, 05 November 2024 at Penina Park, Polokwane. He will make his first court appearance on Thursday, 07 November 2024. The Members of Provincial Organized Crime received information about an African male who was suspected of delivering illicit drugs in Penina Park, Waterland, Polokwane, driving a grey Accent Hyundai with Limpopo registration numbers. The members drove to the specified location and tactically spotted the motor vehicle parked on the side of the road. The vehicle was then approached, and members requested to search the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a big plastic bag was found hidden underneath the seat, they then found a small plastic bag containing illicit drugs, Kat, heroine, rock, and crystal meth. The suspect was arrested for possession and dealing in drugs with an estimated street value of R25 000-00. He will appear before Polokwane Magistrate’s court on Thursday, 07 November 2024.
