A suspected drug dealer bust during safer festive season operation in Bronville

BRONVILLE – Members of Public Order Policing, District Operational Command Centre and members of Bronville Visible Policing led by Captain Francois Odendal were busy with Visible Policing, stop and search duties in Golding Street Bronville to curb substance and liquor abuse on 19 October 2024 at 21:20.

A group of male persons were busy smoking hubbly bubbly using pipes when Constable Pieter Strydom noticed one of them standing up and looked suspicious and when approached. The following drugs were found in his possession: 19 bags of Crystal Meth, 18 halves and five full Mandrax tablets.

A 31-year-old suspect was arrested for Possession of suspected drugs and he will appear on 21 October 2024 in Welkom Magistrate Court.
