18 October 2024 – KwaZulu-Natal’s Ezemvelo FC and UCT of the Western Cape will be smiling all the way to the 2025 season of the Hollywoodbets Super League after they won promotion on Friday, 18 October 2024 following their triumphs in the semi-finals of the 2024 Sasol League National Championships.
Ezemvelo FC beat a stubborn Ramatlaohle Ladies 1-0 in the first semi-final at Loerie Park Sports Grounds in Knysna and earned their place in the final scheduled for Sunday, 20 October 2024.
University of Cape Town won the battle of the universities in the second semi-final and became the highest scoring team of the national championships after beating Kovies 4-0. Ezemvelo FC and UCT will battle it out in the final on Sunday, 20 October 2024 to see who will be crowned 2024 Sasol League National Champions.
The winner of Sunday’s final will walk away with R200 000, while the runners up will receive R100 000. The final will be played at 11h30 and will be broadcast live on SABC.
