Media Statement GAUTENG – On 13 October 2024, the members from Crime Prevention Unit in Eldorado Park police station arrested one man after he was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm. The members were conducting patrols along Alfred Van Zeeberg Street in ext 6, Eldorado Park when they spotted the suspect who started running when he saw the police. The suspect was chased and arrested after a firearm was found on him. The firearm was circulated and information was found that it was reported stolen as per Lenasia case of house robbery. Anyone with information on any illegal activities in and around Eldorado Park can contact SAPS on 011 946 0300 or 082 444 3001.
