50-year-old arrested for dealing in drugs in Thaba Nchu

THABA NCHU – A drug dealer was caught red handed while delivering his orders to clients in Thaba Nchu and Botshabelo.

On Sunday 25 August 2024 at about 10:00, Selosesha Public Order Policing Unit members received information about a man who seems to be a distributor of drugs around Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu. 

The information was then operationalized and the vehicle was spotted near a garage in Thaba Nchu town. The vehicle was tactically approached and the 50-year-old driver was arrested after Mandrax drugs worth an estimated R60 000-00 were found hidden in the vehicle.

The suspect was taken to Thaba Nchu Police Station for processing and the vehicle was booked in as it was used in the commission of a crime. He will appear in court soon for dealing in drugs.
