Two young men to appear before court for possession of suspected stolen property

ZAMDELA – Two young men aged 19 will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate Court today, 26 August 2024, for possession of suspected stolen property.

On Saturday, at about 16:45, the Fezile Dabi District Highway Patrol members were patrolling on the R57 towards Heilbron. While patrolling, the team noticed two white young men loading a road sign board on their bakkie. Suddenly, when the two suspects saw the police, they sped off towards Sasolburg. The members gave chase until they managed to stop the bakkie, and while interviewing the occupants and searching the vehicle, they found a road sign board in the bakkie.

The two could not explain why they are in possession of the road sign board. The road sign and the white Isuzu bakkie were confiscated.
