Media Statement POLOKWANE – The members of Provincial Organised Crime Unit and Crime Intelligence Cluster Coordination Narcotics Task Team have nabbed a 34-year-old female suspect for dealing and possession of drugs during an intelligence driven operation that was conducted on Friday 16 August 2024 at about 12:30. Police were alerted about suspicious activities that were taking place at a residential area at Bok Street in Polokwane and operationalized the information. During the operation, a search was conducted at the house belonging to a 34-year-old female suspect and police discovered 166 sachets of Crystal Meth drugs hidden within the premises with an estimated street value of R16.600. The suspect could not give any explanation about the origin of the drugs and she was immediately placed under an arrest. A 34-year-old female suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday 19 August 2024, facing a charge of possession and dealing in drugs.
