Media Statement POLOKWANE – Lulekane Detectives in Mopani District have initiated a manhunt following a house robbery that occurred in Matiko-Xikaya village on Friday, 26 July 2024 at approximately 04:00. It is reported that during the incident, two male suspects forcibly entered the residence and knocked on the complainant’s bedroom door. The complainant was with his girlfriend at the time.One of the suspects identified himself as the woman’s ex-boyfriend, and the complainant immediately alerted her to escape through the window. The intruders broke the door, and the ex-boyfriend and the complainant got into a physical altercation. The other unknown suspect produced a firearm and threatened the complainant. The suspects ransacked the room and took a bag containing amount of cash. They fled the scene in a white vvti Toyota bakkie carrying other two occupants. Police have opened a case of house robbery.
