Media Statement POLOKWANE – Mokwakwaila Police in Mopani District are searching for two armed suspects who robbed a tuck shop at Matipane Village, of an undisclosed amount of cash and airtime vouchers. According to the preliminary information, two unknown suspects on Wednesday night, 24 July 2024, at approximately 19:00, stormed into the shop, and one pointed the shopkeeper with a firearm. The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. They further took airtime vouchers and fired a random shot before they fled the scene. The suspects were seen getting into a white VW Polo that was parked away from the shop. Police have opened a case of business robbery, and the manhunt for the suspects is underway.
