PHUTHADITJHABA – The Phuthaditjhaba police need the community’s assistance with information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect after a 37-year-old woman was found in her home with multiple stab wounds on her body. It is alleged that on Thursday, 18 July 2024, at about 05:00, the police attended to a complaint of assault at Mutsi Street in Phuthaditjhaba. On their arrival with emergency personnel, they found the woman seated on a couch with multiple stab wounds on her body. The woman was declared dead on the scene. It is further alleged that an undisclosed amount of cash has been stolen. The name of the deceased cannot be disclosed before her next of kin has positively identified her. A case of murder and theft has been opened. No suspect(s) has been arrested yet.
