Media Statement POLOKWANE – The 44-year-old accused Mabu Mailula facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder and murder of a Polokwane businessman was remanded in custody when he appeared before Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday 15 July 2024. The matter was postponed until 22 July 2024 for profiling and possible bail application. The suspect was arrested on Friday, 12 July 2024 in connection with the murder of 40-year-old Jacky Ramogale, who was gunned down at the Thornhill gym parking area on Tuesday night, 30 January 2024 at about 21:30. The deceased was an executive member of a well-known Funeral Palour. It was reported at the time of the incident that police responded to a shooting incident, and upon arrival at the scene, the deceased was found lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds on the neck. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage. The Police are still busy with investigations with the possibility of linking more suspects to the incident. Ends
