GAUTENG – The SAPS Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit in Fochville is looking for this man in the picture. He is wanted for questioning in relation to a case of rape that took place at extension 6 Kokosi village in Fochville. Police believe that he can assist with information. On April 2024 at about 01:00 the victim alleged that she arrived home and forgot to lock her gate. She then locked the door and went to bed. Whilst asleep, she heard a knock at the door and on opening, she noticed a tall dark unknown suspect standing by. The suspect pushed the victim into the house and immediately locked the door. He then forced the victim into her bedroom where he raped her. He was talking seSotho and very aggressive, wearing black trousers and jacket with brown boots. The victim fought back and managed to kick the suspect, after which she escaped. As she ran outside the yard, she realized the suspect had disappeared. A few minutes later the victim went back to her residence, unaware that the suspect was hiding nearby. The suspect managed to once more gain entry and continued to rape the victim. He thereafter fled the scene leaving his belongings. Police are therefore appealing to anyone who can positively identify this man to call the investigating officer detective Constable Mushamula on 081 407 3109 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Ends
