Media Statement BLOEMFONTEIN – The N1 road is closed for traffic after an accident near the Verkeerdevlei tollgate. The accident took place this morning at about 09:30 where two trucks and one light motor vehicle were involved. At this stage, all relevant role-players are currently on scene. The N1 road will be closed at Winburg, redirecting to Theunissen to join the N1 at Bloemfontein. On the Bloemfontein side, the N1 will be closed at the Brandfort offramp, rerouting traffic to the R30. Ends
