Media Statement POLOKWANE – SAPS Moletlane Detectives outside Zebediela have intensified efforts to apprehend suspect(s) who torched a vehicle and residential property in the early hours of Thursday, 04 July 2024 at about 02h00 in Mawaneng village. According to information, the female owner was asleep when an explosion awakened her. She went outside to investigate and noticed that her white Nissan Navara, which was parked next to the house and some property inside the house were on fire. The complainant requested assistance from the neighbours, and they immediately contacted the police and members of the emergency fire brigade who managed to extinguish the fire. The motive of the incident is currently unknown. Police have opened a case of arson and malicious damage to property. This team of detectives is diligently pursuing all leads and gathering evidence to ensure that those responsible face the full consequences of their actions.
