Media Statement POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Saselamani under Vhembe District have launched a search for two male suspects who allegedly committed a house robbery at Mhinga Zone 02 village on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at about 13:00. Police reports indicated that a 26-year-old female victim was inside the house with her one-year-old daughter when two unknown male suspects entered her residence. The suspects demanded to know who the owner of the house was when one of the suspects pointed the victim with a firearm and threatened to kill them if she screamed for assistance and demanded money. The victim showed them the room of the owner of the house, and one suspect proceeded to the room and came back with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then immediately left the house and fled the scene, driving in an unknown black motor vehicle. A manhunt for the two suspects, who are currently unknown, is underway and anyone with information that can assist with the investigations should contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Erickson Tinyiko Chauke on 082 414 2989 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or MySAPS App. Police investigations are continuing.
