Media Statement FREE SATTE – Three suspects aged between 43 and 33 years were arrested for possession of suspected stolen vehicles in Zamdela. On Friday, 31 May 2024, at about 00:05, the Fezile Dabi District Highway Patrol member were patrolling the R82 when they spotted two suspicious vehicles. The two vehicles were stopped, and while conducting a search in the white toyota etios, they noticed that the ignition was tampered with. The members continued to search the gold Etios and discovered the car radio and the front grill belonging to the white Etios. Through preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the white etios was stolen in Potchefstroom. The three suspects were arrested, and the vehicles were confiscated.
The three suspects will appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate court soon for possession of suspected stolen vehicles.
