Media Statement POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Lebowakgomo has opened a case of business robbery that took place at a retail store near to a well-known Supermarket on Tuesday, 14 May 2024 at about 14:15. Police reports indicated that two male suspects entered the shop accompanied by female suspect and pretended to be the customers. One suspect suddenly pulled his jersey and showed a female employee that he was in possession of a firearm. The other male suspect demanded the keys of the display shelf that contained cellphones but the female employee informed that they do not keep them in the premises. The suspects allegedly ordered one of the cashiers to open a cash register and took an undisclosed amount of cash and the three suspects fled the scene on foot. A manhunt for the suspects who were talking in the Zulu language is already activated.
