Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police investigators in Limpopo arrested three murder suspects separately at Musina and Letsitele policing precincts. In Musina Police arrested a 28-year-old suspect for a murder of a 34-year-old man. It is alleged, that on Saturday, 11 May 2024 at around 02:55, the suspect stabbed the deceased with an unknown sharp instrument in the upper body and killed him. Subsequent to the incident, Police were summoned to the scene. Emergency Medical Services were also activated. The victim was certified dead. His identity is currently withheld for investigation purposes. The suspect was traced and arrested. Meanwhile, in Letsitele, two suspects aged 21 and 25, were arrested for killing their neighbour. It is alleged that on Friday, 10 May 2024, at around 18:20, the deceased refused to drive his two neighbours with his vehicle to a certain area. A heated argument ensued, and the two suspects killed him by stabbing him with sharp object, in his upper body. They fled the scene afterwards. Police and EMS were called to the scene. Upon arrival, the victim was certified dead. A suspect aged 21, was traced and arrested at Babanaba Village, the same day, and his accomplice handed himself over to police on Saturday, 11 May, 2024. The three suspects will appear before the respective Magistrate’s Courts on Monday, 13 May 2024. Suspect aged 28, will appear in Musina and two suspects aged 21 and 25 will appear in Ritavi for murder cases. The Police investigations are continuing. Ends
