Office of the Provincial Commissioner Northern Cape
KIMBERLEY – The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape, Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola, together with the Acting Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection and Corporate Services, Major General Jacques Raymond, conferred ranks to eight newly promoted Station Commanders on Wednesday, 08 May 2024 at the SAPS Provincial office in Kimberley, in the presence of Provincial Management.
The new Station Commanders are:

Lt Col JS Kelly, the former Station Commander of Steinkopf SAPS, was promoted as the Station Commander of Colesberg SAPS.

Lt Col KP Ntidi the former Station Commander of Witdraai was promoted as Station Commander of Hartswater SAPS.

Lt Col N Mbelebele the previous Relief Commander at Kagisho SAPS was promoted Station Commander of Sunrise SAPS.

Capt DB Greef a former Relief Commander at Pofadder SAPS was promoted the Station Commander of Komaggas SAPS.

Capt KC Gaboinewe, the former Section Commander of Campbell Detectives was promoted as Station Commander of Lime Acres SAPS.

Capt OP Seikaneng from Kuruman Detectives was promoted as the Station Commander of Modderrivier SAPS.

Capt MP Rispel the former Visible Policing Commander of Noenieput SAPS was promoted as the new Pella Station Commander.

Capt BT Mlozana from De Aar LCRC was promoted to Riemvasmaak SAPS as the newly appointed Station Commander.
The new appointments are effective from the 01 May 2024 and their new role as Station Commanders is to oversee the functioning of their stations and the crime in the policing precinct of their respective stations.
Lieutenant General Otola congratulated the new Station Commanders and outlined her expectations and simultaneously elaborated on their roles and responsibilities. She also reiterated that they will held responsible and accountable for the crime in their respective station areas.
