Media Statement CAPE TOWN – In an intelligence driven operation, members of Paarl Public Order Police (POP) and Paarl Crime Intelligence (CIG) Units obtained a search warrant and proceeded to a premises in Liz Abrahams Street, Smartie Town, Paarl East, on 26 April 2024 at about 07:30 this morning. Upon arrival, members searched the house and seized drugs to the value of R4500-00 and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be the proceeds of crime. Two suspects, aged 26 and 49, were arrested on the scene for dealing and possession of drugs. Once charged, the suspects are due to appear in the Paarl Magistrate’s Court on the mentioned charges.
