Trio arrested for manufacturing and dealing in drugs

MPUMALANGA- Three suspects, aged between 22 and 31, are expected to appear before the Lydenburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 25 April 2024 after they were arrested by the team comprising of the Hawks Nelspruit based Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Provincial Crime Intelligence, Lydenburg SAPS and White River K9 Unit on Wednesday, 24 April 2024 for manufacturing and dealing in drugs (heroin, cocaine and crystal meth), in Lydenburg and Draaikewer flat.

Information was received and operationalised, leading the team to an identified house where a search and seizure was executed.  During the search heroin, cocaine and crystal meth with an estimated street value of R14 131.00 were found and confiscated. Three suspects were arrested and detained pending their first court appearance. Investigation continues.
