Media Statement by the Ministry of Police
As part of ongoing efforts to flush out criminality in communities which experience high crime volumes through the enhancement of partnerships between police and community policing structures, the Police Ministry together with the management of the South African Police Service (SAPS) will on Saturday, 20 April 2024 host a crime prevention Imbizo in Gugulethu; Western Cape. The meeting will focus on addressing serious and violent crimes impacting this community and explore ways for the residents to work closer with law enforcement to improve the police’s responses to these crimes.
