Two unknown bodies found on N3 near Harrismith as a result of an accident

FREE STATE – Two unknown bodies of male persons were found on the side of the road after their alleged stationery car was thrown out of the road on the N3 highway after being hit by a truck.

It’s alleged that on 19 April 2024 at about 04:30, the driver of a truck overtook another truck that was driving in the slow lane on Southbound. While overtaking the car, it collided with a black Citroen sedan with a GP registration that was stationary in the middle of the road. The sedan was hit, thrown off the road and landed in a ditch on the side of the road. The two unknown African males died instantly on the scene. A case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
