POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Hlanganani have launched a manhunt for two unknown suspects following a business robbery committed at Tiyani village on Tuesday, 16 April 2024. It is reported that the victim was working at Big Mos Tuckshop when two unknown male suspects entered the shop pretending to buy cigarettes. The suspects who were in possession of firearms pointed to a 34-year-old foreign national and started demanding money. They subsequently managed to rob him an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and airtime valued at more than three thousand rands. Afterward, the duo fled the scene driving a white Toyota Hilux bakkie belonging to the victim estimated at a value of R300 000. A manhunt for the two suspects has been activated for their swift apprehension and recovery of the stolen white Toyota Hilux bakkie.
