Media Statement POLOKWANE – The Police in Mokwakwaila have launched massive manhunt for suspects who brutally killed a man, on Monday, 25 March 2024 at around 09:17. According to reports, the Police were alerted about an unknown man, whose burnt body was discovered by a passer-by lying on the street. Police arrived at the scene together with EMS. He was found naked, burnt, and his legs were tied. He was certified dead on the scene. His identity is currently withheld for investigation purposes. Police opened a case of murder. The motive behind the incident is currently unknown. The Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, condemned this brutal and senseless fatal attack. She has tasked Police to speed up the search for the suspects.
