Media Statement POLOKWANE – In two distressing yet unrelated incidents, the police in Maake in Mopani district commenced a rigorous search for two individuals reported missing in their respective localities. The SAPS appeals to the public for assistance in locating these individuals to ensure their safe return to their families. Incident One: The first case involves a 86-year-old woman named Selina Mogoboya of Leolo village, who was last seen at her home on Tuesday 19 March 2024. The type of clothes she was wearing at the time of disappearance are not known. Incident Two: The second case concerns the disappearance of 41-year-old Hanyani Suprise Mkhabele of Shiluvane village, last seen on Sunday 03 March 2024. According to the information, he discharged himself from the local hospital (Dr CN Phathudi), and when he arrived home, he demanded his valuables and left. The type of clothes he was wearing at the time of disappearance are not known. The SAPS is employing all available resources and working closely with local communities to trace the whereabouts of the missing persons.
