Media Statement KIMBERLEY – A team of Roodepan Police Station detectives, led by Captain Tenno Slambert, embarked on a wanted suspects tracing operation on Friday, 15 March 2024. A total of 17 suspects, who have been on the run from the police for attempted murder, assault GBH, robbery, theft, malicious damage to property and contravention of protection orders, were arrested. The suspects have been evading Court appearances and others violated Court orders. All suspects were arrested at their respective residences in Roodepan and will appear before the Kimberley Magistrate Court on Monday, 18 March 2024. The police are encouraging the public to rate the police efforts in fighting crime by participating in the “RATE OUR SERVICE” online survey to assist the police in improving services. Ends
