Media Statement POLOKWANE – Members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit in Limpopo have arrested two suspects, aged 42 and 43, in separate incidents in Seshego policing area on Saturday afternoon, 09 March 2024 at about 12:00. The two suspects are suspected of being major drug kingpins, and they were arrested following a meticulously planned operation. The first suspect, aged 42, was arrested at his residence in Zone 8 during which Crystal Meth drugs weighing 52 grams, with the estimated street value of R4000, 00 were confiscated. The operation led to the arrest of another suspect, aged 43, in the same area, found in possession of cocaine drugs to the estimated street value of R1500, 00. “We will continue to work relentlessly to make our communities safer and to rid them of the scourge of drugs.” stated the Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe. Both suspects will appear before Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 11 March 2024. Ends
