Gaza’s Health Ministry stated in a press release that 90 people were killed and 177 wounded in Israeli bombing attacks on the Strip in the previous 24 hours.
On Sunday, the ministry announced that the number of fatalities since the beginning of the Israeli war on the enclave on October 7 had risen to 30,410 with 71,700 injured.
The ministry added that several victims were still trapped under the rubble or on the roads as Israel was preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
In Rafah, southern Gaza, Palestinians said that an Israeli airstrike destroyed a four-storey house belonging to the Abu Anza family, killing at least 14 people.
Nasib Abu Anza, a family member, said the destroyed house belonged to his maternal aunt and had accommodated 40 people, including displaced people.
He added, “We retrieved 14 martyrs and 11 injured people so far. There are still eight missing under the rubble, including two-month-old twins. Most of the people killed or wounded were women and children.”
