Do you need some encouragement on your faith journey? This post is for you. I want to assure you that as a child of God, you are safe and secure in God’s grace. Your future is in God’s hands. And his grace is greater than anything your ever face. Grace always wins. So rest assured, all is well, also in your life. It might not look like it. But trust God. He knows what he is doing. You can count on that.
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:16-17, NIV)
And, as Kevin P. Halloran has said, “There is never a moment in your entire life when God’s grace is not sufficient for you.” God’s grace is sufficient, every second of your life. So you truly are safe and secure in God’s grace. No matter what.
But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. (2 Cor 12:9, AMP)
Safe and secure in God’s grace
Whenever you need God’s grace, it is available for you. God wants you to enjoy the fullness of his grace every day of your life. Sure, God’s grace is more than we can understand but let’s not let it hinder us from receiving it continually. Because our need for grace is huge every moment of our lives.
I believe our pretended self-sufficiency is one of the greatest enemies for growing in faith. That’s why I keep on surrendering to God each and every day. Otherwise, I start relying on my own strength and wisdom, and that never ends well.
I need Christ and his grace every single day. Therefore, I’ve learned to live in grace. And I would not change it to anything on this earth. Because grace is more than sufficient. Grace is not just pardoning but also empowering. We are not alone in this world, we are safe and secure in God’s grace.
Gracious God, our Heavenly Father,
You are such a good, good Father.
Thanks for providing us with grace upon grace.
Help us to keep on seeking you continually because only in you we are safe and secure.
Be praised forever and ever.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
P.S.
Isn’t God amazing? He loves us even though we are far from perfect. He prepared the way back to him in Jesus. All we need to do is to receive grace upon grace. And even that is not all. Now he wants to supply us with his empowering grace so we can be safe and secure in it and live according to his will. Let’s revel in God’s love and grace and share the good news with everyone! Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim!
