Buckingham Palace introduced shortly afterward that Lady Susan Hussey, a lady-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William’s godmother, had stepped down from her “honorary” position following an inside investigation into the incident.

Earlier within the week, Fulani stated she had obtained abuse since talking out in regards to the incident at Buckingham Palace.

“The last week has been an extremely difficult time for us all at Sistah Space. My team, family and I have been put under immense pressure and received some horrific abuse via social media,” she stated in a press release quoted by British media.

The November incident at Buckingham Palace, based on Fulani, had concerned a member of employees transferring her hair to see her title badge and refusing to simply accept her rationalization that she was British.

Another visitor who witnessed the incident beforehand told The Washington Post that it had “felt like an interrogation.”
