Lekompo Musician Tsaka RSA in Court Following Alleged Brutal Nightclub Assault
Pretoria musician Paul Nkgodisheng Madubanya, 29, known as Tsaka RSA appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court yesterday facing charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH).
The state alleges that early on 2 August 2026, around 03:00 am, Tsaka was performing at the popular Propaganda Night Club in Pretoria Central when a violent altercation ensued.
According to National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) regional spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana, Tsaka allegedly struck a male complainant multiple times using an empty bottle crate.
Security bouncers at the venue managed to intervene and escorted both parties outside.
However, it is further alleged that Tsaka continued the assault outside the venue until friends of the complainant stepped in to stop the attack.
The victim later reported the incident at the Pretoria Central Police Station, prompting a criminal investigation.
Tsaka’s arrest took place on 19 October 2026 under unusual circumstances.
Police apprehended him at the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court, where he was already appearing in connection with an entirely separate, unrelated matter.
The Pretoria Magistrates’ Court has postponed the case to 27 October 2026.
This delay will allow Tsaka time to secure legal representation and will grant authorities time to conduct profiling and bail investigations.
