BAIL HEARING LOOMS FOR THREE ETHIOPIAN NATIONALS IN DURBAN
Three Ethiopian nationals facing attempted murder charges will remain in police custody at Durban Central Police Station following a ruling by the Durban Magistrate’s Court.
The court has directed that the accused be held at the police station rather than Westville Prison as they await the next stage of their case.
All eyes will now be on Friday’s court proceedings, when the bail hearing is scheduled to take place. The hearing will determine whether the accused can return to the community while their case continues or will have to remain behind bars.
The matter is still ongoing, with the outcome of the bail application expected to be a key development in the case.
Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
