KZN POLICE DENY WARRANT OF ARREST AGAINST MARCH AND MARCH AND SOUTH AFRICA FIRST LEADERS
DURBAN – KwaZulu-Natal police have dismissed claims that warrants of arrest have been issued against Jacinta Mangobese Zuma and her husband Xolani Zuma.
In a statement issued on Thursday, 15 October 2026, the South African Police Service (SAPS) said there was no record of any criminal case registered against the two individuals.
Police said the allegations could cause unnecessary panic among residents and urged activists to exercise responsibility when making public statements that could be considered reckless or incite violence.
The provincial police commissioner’s office advised anyone who suspects that a warrant of arrest has been issued against them to contact the police directly to verify the information.
SAPS further emphasised that it does not target individuals or engage in witch hunts, adding that public statements would not deter officers from enforcing the law.
Police also urged those claiming to be facing arrest to clarify the charges involved to prevent public speculation and uncertainty.
