Kholofelo Ndlovu Withdraws ANC Leadership Dispute at Polokwane High Court
POLOKWANE – Greater Tzaneen Municipality Ward Councillor and ANC member Kholofelo Ndlovu has withdrawn his court case against ANC Norman Mashabane Regional Secretary Sonia Ngobeni and Provincial Secretary Vhamusanda Reuben Madadzhe at the Polokwane High Court on Tuesday.
The withdrawal was announced by Ndlovu’s attorney Sekwari, who also represents Lekompo musician Shebe Maburna.
Ndlovu had approached the court in a bid to challenge the nomination of former EFF member Isaiah Hlungwani as an ANC ward councillor candidate for the upcoming 2026 Lkcal Government Elections.
The dispute centres on allegations that Hlungwani was nominated by community members, rather than through the ANC branch structures.
The Polokwane High Court had stood the matter down to allow the legal representatives to engage before the withdrawal was announced.
The reasons behind Ndlovu’s decision to withdraw the case were not immediately clear.
