Football fans hoping to watch Orlando Pirates face Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2026 MTN8 Final at Moses Mabhida Stadium need to be ready when tickets go on sale.

The highly anticipated final will take place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.

General-access tickets will cost R150, with each person allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, 2 October at 10am, exclusively through Open Tickets.

What fans need to do

Fans are encouraged to create their Open Tickets accounts before Friday and log in beforehand to ensure everything is working.

Make sure you have a working bank card, sufficient funds and a reliable internet connection ready.

At 10am on Friday, log in to Open Tickets and select the 2026 MTN8 Final. Fans should expect an online queue, so avoid refreshing the page unless instructed to do so.

Once you get access, select your tickets and complete the payment within 10 minutes. If the payment is not completed before the timer expires, the tickets will be released back for sale.

Fans should also remember that every person entering the stadium requires a ticket, including children.

Supporters are urged to buy only through the official platform and avoid resellers or social-media messages offering tickets.

After completing the purchase, save the confirmation email and check all ticket details carefully.

With the final expected to attract a big crowd at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stdium, fans are also advised to plan their travel well in advance.
