Witness Reports Suspects Used Nearby Property to Reload During Attack
New details have emerged regarding the mass shooting that claimed the lives of 18 people at a local tavern, with a neighbour recounting how the perpetrators utilized his residence during the incident.
The death toll reached 18 after one of the injured victims passed away in the hospital, following the initial fatalities at the scene.
A neighbour living adjacent to the tavern recounted the moments when the armed suspects approached his property.
Seeking safety, the resident hid inside his home.
According to the witness account, the individuals entered his residence and used the lounge area to load their firearms before proceeding toward the tavern.
The witness described an incident that lasted for over 30 minutes, during which the suspects allegedly returned to the property multiple times.
The suspects left the residence and initially opened fire outside the tavern.
The individuals reportedly returned to the neighbour’s house to reload their weapons before returning to the tavern.
The witness stated that the suspects entered the house three times in total to reload during the course of the event.
Reports indicate that security cameras in the area captured footage of the suspects.
Although the perpetrators reportedly fired at the cameras before leaving the scene, law enforcement authorities are reviewing the available footage to assist in identifying the individuals involved.
