FREE STATE – Crime Prevention unit members intensifies their efforts in making Tseki the safest in Qwaqwa. On 05 April 2024 at about 23:00, Tseki crime prevention unit members while on patrol in Matebeleng village received a tip off about a person having a firearm at a local Tarven. The team rushed to the said tavern and on their arrival, the 26-year-old identified male was approached and searched. An unlicensed 9mm pistol with ammunition was found in his possession and he was arrested.
The 26-year-old residing at Matebeleng village will appear in the Tseki Magistrate court soon for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
