A Miracle in Iowa Happening for Presidential Candidate Rollan Roberts.
Des Moines, Iowa – January 3, 2024, Presidential Candidate Rollan Roberts II struck a nerve the week before Christmas with Liberian-Americans in Iowa with his strong stance against U.S. corruption in Liberia that has resulted in a staggering surge of African, Middle East, Latino, and Asian immigrant support.
According to the Liberian Council of Iowa and the Sudanese Council of Iowa, there are at least 30,000+ Africa-Iowa immigrants. As a result of their passionate support for his candidacy, Dr. Roberts started holding nightly Zooms for Iowans at 8pm EST as part of his last minute, full-court-press in Iowa. They run through January 12 culminating in an in-person meet-and-greet at The Iowa Taproom in Des Moines on the 13th, a worship service on the 14th, and the Iowa Caucus on January 15, 2024.
According to Roberts, “What’s happening in Iowa is nothing short of a miracle. Those that have never had a voice in Iowa or U.S. politics are now aggressively mobilizing to caucus for us on Jan. 15, most of whom are having to switch their party affiliation to ensure there is a U.S. President that cares about them, their needs, and their homelands. For the first time ever in a Republican Iowa caucus, there will be more immigrants present than historical Iowa caucus goers.”
The Roberts campaign recognizes what a historic feat this would be if the immigrant communities of Iowa single-handedly led to his victory. It would be an unprecedented upset in political history.
Regardless of the outcome in Iowa on January 15, Roberts says the miracle has already occurred. “The miracle will not be where we place in the caucus. The miracle is that the immigrant community is aggressively inspired and mobilized like never before. Regardless of outcome, I’m grateful for each of their support and my love and care for all people and nations on earth is not contingent on the outcome of an election. It is who I am.”
